Madden 23 is having an SSL Connect Error because of a problem with the EA servers.

Apparently, almost all of the EA games are affected by the outage.

“Cannot connect using SSL” is an error message that appears as a pop-up message.

The only option that you can select is the “OK” option.

Here is one of the reports, “Bro, I just want to play Madden 23 but all it shows up is an SSL error”.

The official EA Help Twitter tweeted that there’s an issue with their online services which affects connectivity and logging in,

Here’s what they tweeted, “Something’s up with our online services, but we’re on it. In the meantime, you might not be able to connect to online modes, buy games, or log in to your account. We’ll get you back in your game as soon as we can”.

How to fix “SSL Connect Error” in Madden 23

To fix the “SSL Connect Error” in Madden 23, you need to sign in to the EA website.

After you’ve signed in to the EA website, accept the terms and conditions and restart Madden 23.

You can also try disabling the 2-step verification in your EA account.

You can sign in to your EA account using a PC or a mobile device.

Make sure to sign in using the platform that you’re playing the game on.

For example, if you’re playing the game on a PS4 or PS5, you need to select the “PlayStation” sign-in option.

Fix 1: Sign in to the EA website and agree to the terms

Go to https://www.ea.com/.

Click on the profile icon > Sign In.

Select PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or other sign-in options (depending on the platform that you’re playing the game on).

Accept the terms and conditions with EA.

Restart Madden 23 and the error should be fixed.

Fix 2: Sign in to the EA website and disable 2-step verification

Go to https://www.ea.com/.

Click on the profile icon > Sign In.

Select PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or other sign-in options (depending on the platform that you’re playing the game on).

Account Settings > Security > Login Verification > Disable > Save your changes.

Restart Madden 23 and the error should be fixed.
